The New Queen: [looking in the mirror]

Mirror, mirror on the wall

Among the ladies in this land,

Who is the fairest of all?

Mirror: Among the grown-up ladies tall,

Thou, O Queen, art exceedingly fair,

But the truth I must speak

And this I do swear,

Snow White is not dead but living still,

In a lovely house far over the hill;

And though you, O Queen,

Art certainly fair,

This child's beauty doth

Make her more fair.

The New Queen: Ah, the hunter deceived me! I can't stand that! What shall I do? [ is thinking] I will kill her myself ! [The New Queen disguises herself as an old woman]: She won't recognize me! [The New Queen comes to the dwarfs" cottage and knocks on the door and shouts: -Laces and ribbons for sale! Petty laces and ribbons!

Snow White lets the old woman in and chooses some lace.

The New Queen: Let me lace your corset. [And she laces Snow White so tightly that she falls down.]

[The dwarfs come home, cut the lace and Snow White come to her conscious and tells about the old woman]

Snow White: An old peddler-woman came and I bought some beautiful lace.

2nd DW: Take great care and let nobody in the house.

The New Queen: Mirror, mirror on the wall

Among the ladies in this land,

Who is the fairest of all?

Mirror: Thou, O Queen, art exceedingly fair,

But the truth I must speak

And this I do swear,

Snow White is not dead but living still,

In a lovely house far over the hill;

And though you, O Queen,

Art certainly fair,

This child's beauty doth

Make her more fair.

[The New Queen became very angry. She disguises herself as an old woman again, takes a poisoned comb, puts a lot of things and goes to the cottage.]

The New Queen comes to the dwarfs" cottage and knocks on the door and shouts:-

-Pretty things to sale! Rings and beads, combs and neck-lace!

Snow White: I have promised the dwarfs not to let anybody into the house.

The New Queen: Never mind! You can just look, can't you?

[Snow White lets the old woman in ]

The New Queen: You must let me comb your hair properly.[ stacks the poisoned comb into Snow White" head and the girl falls down.]

The New Queen: I have killed her this time! I have killed her this time!
