3d DW : Never let anyone into the house when we go to work.

The New Queen: Mirror, mirror on the wall

Among the ladies in this land,

Who is the fairest of all?

Mirror: Thou, O Queen, art exceedingly fair,

But the truth I must speak

And this I do swear,

Snow White is not dead but living still,

In a lovely house far over the hill;

And though you, O Queen,

Art certainly fair,

This child's beauty doth

Make her more fair.

[The Queen stamps her feet and beats the looking -glass.]

The New Queen: The Queen shall die! I vow! Even if it costs me my life!

[The Queen poisons an apple and goes to the cottage.]

Snow White: What wonderful apples you have got, peasant- woman! But I am forbidden to open the door.

The New Queen: Here, I'll give this one to you. Eat it right now, it's so tasty.

Snow White: I don't dare take it.

The New Queen: Are you afraid it is poisoned? Look, I cut it into two halves- rosy and green. And I will give you the best half the rosy. I will eat the other. [eats]

[Snow White bites the apple and falls down dead].

The Queen laughed a horrible laugh and cried: This time the dwarfs won't waken you! [Runs home] Mirror, mirror on the wall

All dwarfs: Our beautiful Snow White is dead! [mourning]

Author: For three days and nights they stood round her, mourning. At the end of three days they had a glass coffin for their beloved Snow White. On the side of the coffin they wrote Snow White's name in the letters of gold and that she was a king's daughter.

4 th DW: Snow White lay in the coffin for many years and still she looked as if she was alive and just sleeping.

5 TH DW: One day a prince found the coffin. He fell in love with her at first sight.

Prince: Oh dear dwarfs, I plead you - give me the coffin with Snow White because I cannot live without her.

Dwarfs and Prince carry Snow White down the hill and drop her down, a peace of apple flanges out of her throat she opens her eyes, sits up and says:

Snow White: Where am I? Who are you?

Prince: Come with me to my father's palace and we shall be married. I love you so much.

Snow White: Dear Prince, I agree. Good-bye, dear dwarfs. Thank you for your kindness and love, I was happy with you.

[Prince and Snow White leave]
